IAUD International Design Award 2024 had 36 entries, which are from 9 countries around the world; Brazil, France, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Norway, UK and USA. Selection Committee judged the entries rigorously and impartially, and finally selected 3 Grand Awards, 7 Gold Awards, 6 Silver Awards and 11 Bronze Awards.

IAUD will hold online event for “IAUD International Design Award 2024 Awards Ceremony / Presentation”, which internationally recognizes UD activities for the realization of a sustainable symbiotic society from 19:00 to 22:00 (JST) on February 28, 2025. There were 36 entries from 9 countries.

The International Association for Universal Design has been working on preparations for the opening of the second International Universal Design Research Course in December 2024, but for various reasons it was decided to make some revisions to the curriculum and other content, and the opening of the course has been postponed until April 2025.

The International Association for Universal Design (IAUD) established theInternational Institute for Universal Design (IIUD) in October 2023 to promote education and research projects related to universal design (UD), and this year, the second year of the International Universal Design Research Course, will finally expand its activities internationally.
