The 2nd Regular Seminar in 2023 was successfully held online on Wednesday, September 13rd. The theme of this event was “UD Training for Human Resource Development through e-learning” and Mr. Malintha Fernando from HSBC, which won the IAUD International Design Grand Award 2022 for their entry “HSBC Accessibility Hub” at was a speaker at the event.

The new coronavirus has still been a threat all over the world.
In Japan, we have an action for avoiding high-risk situations. We call it Avoid the “three Cs”: Closed spaces, Crowded places and Close-contact settings.
IAUD would like to introduce this action for preventing COVID-19 outbreaks.

Being concerned about the current situation that masks are in short supply due to the spread of the new coronavirus, a 14-year-old girl made 900 cloth masks by herself and gave them to Yamanashi Prefectural Office and a university.
