Prof. Roger Coleman, the chairman of the Selection Committee and Professor Emeritus of the Royal College of Art, commented on each winners.

Fifteen years passed since we held our first International Conference in Yokohama, which led to the establishment of IAUD.

To encourage more applications, Award eligibility has been expanded even further with the establishment of the Special Recommendation System with its Award Special Nominators. Nominees proceed directly to the 2nd selection phase (main selection phase), skipping the 1st selection phase, and the Grand Award and Gold Award winners get to present their work in Munich.
