The IAUD International Design Award 2024 Awards Ceremony and Presentation was successfully held online on February 28th, 2025. It received appx.180 participants from 14 countries and as information accessibility, simultaneous interpretation (Japanese/English) and automatic captioning service were delivered.

The International Association for Universal Design (IAUD) will open the second phase of the International Universal Design Research Course in April 2025, and a group discount of 40% off the course fee will be applied only to applications of 10 or more people from companies, organisations and local authorities.

Ms. Onny Eikhaug, the chair of the Selection Committee and Executive Board (Former President), EIDD Design for All Europe, Founder, Innovation for All AS, commented on each winners.

IAUD International Design Award 2024 had 36 entries, which are from 9 countries around the world; Brazil, France, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Norway, UK and USA. Selection Committee judged the entries rigorously and impartially, and finally selected 3 Grand Awards, 7 Gold Awards, 6 Silver Awards and 11 Bronze Awards.

IAUD will hold online event for “IAUD International Design Award 2024 Awards Ceremony / Presentation”, which internationally recognizes UD activities for the realization of a sustainable symbiotic society from 19:00 to 22:00 (JST) on February 28, 2025. There were 36 entries from 9 countries.
