We are glad to announce that the UD2019 7th International Conference for Universal Design has started today, 4th of March, in Bangkok

The 7th International Conference for Universal Design 2019 has kicked off in Bangkok at the Convention Hall of King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang.

The open ceremony was host by character singer “KYO” from ZOLA PROJECT ( VOCALOID) and supported by Yu Miyazaki as Vocal Character.

The first speech at the Opening Ceremony was addressed by Mr. Hisafumi Kogawasa (Chair, Organizing Committee) Followed by a recorded video-message from Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. Then Mr.Shiro Sadoshima (Japanese Ambassador in Thailand) Gen.Surayud Chulanont (Privy Councilor to King Vajiralongkorn) and Ms. Akiko Yamanaka (Special Advisor to the President, Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia) also delivered warm welcome speeches.

The opening ceremony reflected the high expectations of IAUD's guests and members for the conference.
