After joining the Nihon Keizai Shimbun in 1986, he worked at the Nikkei Electronics Editorial Department of Nikkei BP, Nikkei Information Strategy Editorial Department of Nikkei BP, Corporate Press Department of Nihon Keizai Shimbun and Electronic News Department of Nihon Keizai Shimbun.

Currently he is a senior editor at Nikkei Design Editorial Department of Nikkei BP, who is in charge of design thinking and universal design.
