Kenzo Shinozaki is Director at the Product Safety Technology Division, Chubu Office, National Institute of Technology and Evaluation (NITE).
He joined the International Trade and Industry Inspection Institute of Ministry of International Trade and Industry (the former the NITE) in 1990.
He has engaged in testing of industrial products such as electrical appliances, combustion appliances and bicycles, and investigation of product accidents.
Regarding investigation of product accidents, he collects information on the accidents from various aspects such as product designs and quality control, and analyzes them to identify their causes.
He also has an experience in standards development for welfare equipment.
