Invited Speakers

Rama Gheerawo is Reader in Inclusive Design and Director of the Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design. With over 17 years in the design industry, his interest is in people-centred design thinking looking at how design can address some of society’s toughest issues. He is a keynote speaker internationally and writes, curates exhibitions and runs workshops for audiences that range from students to business executives. Knowledge transfer to business is central to his work, building on the Centre's track record of over 250 collaborative projects organisations that include Nokia, Samsung and Toyota. Rama also works with government and the public sector Rama has published chapters for the academic press such as Routledge, Springer and Tapir, and had articles published Volume magazine, New Design and the Journal of Design Philosophy Papers.
