The 6th International Conference for Universal Design in Nagoya 2016

We have come together here in Nagoya
And had serious and diverse discussion on our theme
“Creating Shared Value through Universal Design”.
Our societies are constantly fluctuating between exclusion and inclusion.
Against the waves of intolerance, we will discuss tolerance.
Against the waves of division, we will engage in exchange.

The success of design thinking ushers us to a new phase.
Universal Design is more than designing of goods,
Inevitably it would have a growing role in designing our societies.
What kind of societies do we intend?
This Conference will expand new networks
