Keiko Ohta

Tanpopo-no-ye/Guest Researcher, Ritsumeikan University: Japan
Ms. Keiko Ohta was born in Osaka in 1974. After graduating from Kansai University, she joined Hewlett-Packard Japan, Ltd. She conducted research on the views on disability of persons with "moderate" degree of physical disability who did not require assistance in everyday life, and obtained a doctoral degree (Doctor of Philosophy) from Osaka City University in 2009. She is a visiting researcher at Ritsumeikan University's Kinugasa Research Organization since 2010. She has been participating in the Inclusive Design Workshop as a disabled user since 2005, and has been involved in Tanpopo No Ie's inclusive design projects and research since 2007.
