 Language

The conference is primarily in English, but some sessions will have Japanese simultaneous or consecutive interpreters.

 Receivers for simultaneous interpretation

The receivers for Japanese simultaneous interpretation will be lent out at Annex Hall on November 30 and on the 5th floor of Conference Center from December 1 to 4. Please return them after the session.
In case of loss or damage of the receiver, your deposit will be used to cover the damage.

 Services

The Business Center will be set up at the venue to provide the following services.
People who need the following services should make requests by putting checkmark on the application form.

 Braille
Although there is no document available in Braille, a CD-ROM including the papers to be presented will be available for those who will bring in their PCs with reading software or Braille display.

 Sign Language
As the conference is primarily in English, sign language translation will not be provided. Please arrange an English-sign language translator by yourself if you need it. As to Japanese-sign language translation, we are planning to ask volunteer translators to help you as a service for personal needs.
 Hearing Aid Device
Magnetic loop device will be set up at the venue.
 Note Taker
We will set up the Business Center in the venue.
Note taker will be available from the Business Center on your request.
 Enlarged Text
The text of the papers to be presented can be enlarged on PCs at the Business Center.
 Child Care
child care center called "Kids' Square" is available at the neighboring Pan Pacific Hotel Yokohama.
Due to the limited capacity, please reserve beforehand if you need its services.

 Travel Desk

*In addition to the above registration fee, the registration processing fee of JPY 525 will be required.
*Advanced registration will be accepted by November 20. Any registration after that will be handled as on-site registration.
*Those who registered as student will be required to present your student ID on the conference date.
If you cannot present your student ID, you will be treated as a general and asked to pay the difference.

 Helpers, Spouses, Children

Registration fees will be discounted to the half for helpers and spouses.
Fees for accompanying children are as follows:

  • Under 15: Free
  • 15 - 19: Student Fee
  • Over 19: Adult Fee

*IDs to show the children's age might be required at the venue.

 For those who registered in advance
Please come to the Advanced Registration Counter at the venue.
Your registration confirmation will be required at the counter.
Your name card and bag will be handed upon registration.
 For those who wants the on-site registration
On-site Registration Forms are available at the venue.
Please fill out the form and bring it to the On-site Registration Counter.
Your name card and bag will be handed upon payment the registration fee.

 Name Card (ID Card)

Please have your name card with you during the conference.
Otherwise, you might be refused to enter into the conference room due to security reasons.

 International Call

Pay phones with international call service are located throughout the building.
A prepaid phone card is required to use them.

 Smoking

All conference rooms are non-smoking.
There will be some designated smoking areas at the venue.
