Invited Speakers

Born on Nov. 13, 1939. He was graduated from Faculty of Engineering, Kansai University. After 3-year-wandering in Europe and Israel from 1964, he entered Kenwood Corporation and stayed as a resident officer in US Base in Saigon for 6 months during Vietnam war. After returning to Japan, he was in charge of product planning and PR activities after startup of audio product planning department. Then he resided as a marketing/technology director in head office in Belgium for 8 years from 1974. In 1982, home audio product manager (director), in 1993, human resources director, in 1994, executive director at president's office. He was president of Kenwood Design Corp. (affiliate of Kenwood Corp.) 1996-2002. In 2003, he established Thinka Design and has been conducting research and consultation on overseas product development and design. He is currently director of Japan Society of Kansei Engineering (presiding Design & Business Study Network), managing director of Kanagawa Design Forum and visiting professor of Zhejiang University of Technology.
