Invited Speakers

Isa Kamari is currently Manager, Architecture with the Land Transport Authority (LTA) of Singapore. The Commuter Planning and Design section in which he manages is responsible for the planning, design and implementation of commuter facilities like bus stops, taxi stands, passenger pick-up and drop-off points, pedestrian overhead bridges, underpasses, covered linkways, bicycle parking, bus interchanges and their connectivity and integration with the Rail Transit system and the adjacent commercial, residential and institutional developments. He represents the LTA in the Silver Industry Standards Protem Committee and the Ministerial Committee on Ageing. In 2009 he participated in the Study Tour on Universal Design led by the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) to Tokyo and Shizuoka Prefecture. He frequently presents talks on Commuter Facilities and Barrier-free Accessibility for the LTA Academy.
