Abstract submission for the 3rd International Conference for Universal Design in HAMAMATSU 2010 has been closed on February 15th. We received so many abstracts, especially more than double the number of abstracts from overseas registered compared with the 2nd UD conference in 2006. We sincerely appreciate your contribution.

Let us introduce you the CD-ROM version of the remarkable collective addresses
at the 2nd International Conference for Universal Design in KYOTO 2006.
We have just finished editing the keynote addresses as well as panel discussions
all spoken at the above Conference held in October 2006.
Total 36 messages were delivered by prominent speakers who expressed their latest and valuable thinkings and
practices on universal design for generating
the promising future.
The texts were edited both in English and Japanese languages.

It’s been more than a year since the Conference and after a long struggle in editing, we are pleased to inform you that the final Proceedings are ready for your perusal.
Final Conference Proceedings include: i) 135 revised and updated papers in a book, and ii) 86 Japanese papers in another book when they were submitted. Both i) and ii), and revised posters are also included in an accompanying CD-ROM . We are very proud of these articles themselves as well as the volume (1,095 pages for English version and 690 pages for Japanese, over 4.0 kgs. in total) that are the final outcome of studies done by industrious participants worldwide.
