Announcement of the winners of IAUD Award 2010 Excellence Awards


Award rogotypeWe had a large number of applications for the IAUD Award, and would like to thank all the applicants. We now announce the selection of the winners for the Excellence Awards.

As a result of a rigorous and fair evaluation process by the IAUD Award Selection Committee, four winners have been selected for the Excellence Awards. The winner of the Grand Award will be selected from among the winners of the Excellence Awards. The winners of both the Grand Award and Excellence Awards will be presented and the awards given at the 3rd International Conference for Universal Design in Hamamatsu 2010.

Excellence Awards

  • Promotion of "DOCOMO Hearty Style"

  • "The Creation of a Non-Handicapping Environment(NHE) for Persons with Disabilities(PWDs) in Rural Arias in the Philippines"

IAUD Award 2010: exhibition and award ceremony

Panel exhibition of the winners’ achievements and the award ceremony will be held during the 3rd International Conference for Universal Design in Hamamatsu 2010.


Panel exhibition of the achievements of the Excellence Award winners:

  • October 30 (Sat.) to November 3 (Wed.)
    Place: International conference exhibition space (IAUD panel exhibition corner)

Announcement of the selection results of the Grand Award:

  • November 1 (Mon.)
    The winner of the Grand Award will be selected from among the winners of the Excellence Awards, and will be announced at the award ceremony during the 3rd International Conference for Universal Design in Hamamatsu 2010.

IAUD Award Ceremony:

  • November 1 (Mon.) 12:15–13:15, ACT CITY Hamamatsu, Main Hall
    The award ceremony will include presentations by the award winners.
